Lifestyle Trade at the Heart of Bangkok

With the study and analysis of trends and trade fairs in the lifestyle, product industry indicates that the business had greatly changed. While the number of major buyers and importers has decreased, new business groups such as Design Store, Multi-brand Store, Concept Store, and Selected Shop have emerged and rapidly expanding.

Mrs Vannaporn Ketudat, Deputy Director General of DITP together with Mrs Nisabudh Virabutr, Director of Office of Lifestyle Trade Promotion, DITP, and their celebrity guests.

On that note, Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, first organized STYLE Bangkok in 2017, by combining three major lifestyle trade fairs where each had been hosted by DITP continuously for over a decade. As it better serves the evolving global trend and the changing demands of buyers and importers in reducing travelling time and burden of product sourcing and ordering.

The fair will be taking place from the 17th April 2019 to 21st April 2019 and will be occurring again on the 16th October 2019 to 20th October, as it’s a bi-annual fair. Focusing on exhibitors from Thai and international entrepreneurs from various countries including Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Ghana which is totalling about 876 companies.

Under the concept of “Crenovative Origin”, which is a successful integration of creativity, innovation and originality of Thai identity, the fair will be highlighting the works of Thai designers and entrepreneurs whose creative ideas have been developed into the lifestyle products with modern innovation, elevating from local brand to the global trade platform.
