Honeywell Hometown Solutions has premiered the Science and Engineering Programme for the first time at University Technology Petronas, Malaysia in January 18.
The sponsored programme aims to encourage students with their interest in science, technology, engineer and math to pursue their career with interactions with Nobel laureates, Honeywell technologists especially prominent speaker, Professor Robert B. Laughlin, winner of the 1998 Nobel Prize in physics.
A total of 27 laureate lecturers and top universities from China, the Czech Republic, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Romania and the United States attended the programme to create a knowledge centre for students to learn and innovate.
Honeywell is collaborating very closely with technical universities in Malaysia that offers programmes such as engineering lectures, collaborative projects, students events, academic thesis opportunities and internships.
