Renowned creator Philippe Starck designs motorhome for the BWT Alpine F1 Team with a focus on recreating the luxurious qualities of an Alpine chalet

The new motorhome as imagined by Philippe Starck acts as a place of refuge for the BWT Alpine F1 Team during Formula 1 seasons. The iconic creator oversaw the art direction and interior of the project, resulting in a space that combines intelligently lightweight engineering and a warm and lavish ambiance to evoke the charm of Alpine retreats.

The exterior of the motorhome features custom-made steel frames covered in Alpine blue-tinted, mirror-finish glass panels. Inside, Starck blends polished and textured stainless steel with warm wood, bark elements and leather to create a natural feel. Launched in Monza, Italy, this three-storey state-of-the-art mobile hub will accommodate partners, VIP guests, media and team personnel.

The motorhome is also equipped with cutting-edge communications equipment in its meeting rooms and work areas to ensure seamless connectivity, while BWT’s unique water filtration technology is integrated into the entire water distribution system. The motorhome’s sustainability is further enhanced through the use of the latest Renault Truck models, which offer 10% fuel saving capabilities and a 10% reduction in CO2 emissions thanks to the DE13 Turbo Compound Engine.
