Agility Enables Creative Productivity at Warner Music’s Singapore Office

Bean Buro designed the Warner Music Singapore office, borrowing the design language it employed in the Hong Kong and Beijing offices. The office’s design was localized by framing the view of the Marina Bay at the workplace’s entrance where a a foyer with built-in booths and an art mural created by visual artist Tobyato are found. The main open space is a lounge with a performance space and, a large LED screen as a backdrop. The layout is designed to maximize natural daylight and views with meeting rooms, boardrooms and phonebooths separated by glass partitions and positioned to ensure these views and also benefit from them. Acoustics was a main focus throughout the office, not only for demoing music but also for more focused work. A room for employees to sample music occupies a corner to incorporate views and natural light and create privacy for the recording process. There is also a separate room for artists to get their hair, makeup and styling done. A mixture of stainless steel panels balanced with timber and leather joineries and terrazzo flooring cultivating a calm and fresh environment.
