Chosen for making waves in the industry this year, a total of 609 projects have made the longlists for Dezeen Awards 2024. For this seventh edition of the Dezeen Awards, longlisted projects were chosen from over 4,130 entries across 82 countries, showcasing design innovations and meritus creations by global architects and designers.

The next phase of the Awards will look to an esteemed panel of international judges, including renowned architects Anupama Kundoo and Keiji Ashizawa, to evaluate all longlisted projects.

Winners will be revealed at the annual Dezeen Awards party in London on November 26, 2024.

The celebration at Hackney Church, London, offers a chance to connect with fellow nominees, winners, esteemed judges and the wider architecture and design community. Guests can expect free-flowing drinks, food and live entertainment.

On the night, Dezeen will unveil the champions across 41 categories, along with the overall winners for architecture, interiors, design, and sustainability. Also to be announced are the six Designers of the Year, and the recipient of the 2024 Bentley Lighthouse Award.

Dezeen Awards 2024 architecture longlist

The 231 projects longlisted for this year’s Awards feature work from renowned firms across 40 countries like Bangladesh and Nigeria. The city with the highest number of longlisted entries is London, at 24 projects, followed by Paris and Shanghai.

Dezeen Awards 2024 interiors longlist

The 140 projects longlisted for this year’s Awards highlight curations by studios from 32 different countries, including Thailand and Kazakhstan. The location with the highest number of longlisted entries is London, at 22 projects, followed by Tokyo at nine entries.

Dezeen Awards 2024 design longlist

The 157 projects longlisted for this year’s Awards include creations by designers across 32 countries like Turkey and Pakistan. The country with the highest number of longlisted entries is the UK, at 36 projects, followed by the US and Netherlands.

Dezeen Awards 2024 sustainability longlist

The 81 projects longlisted for this year’s Awards celebrate innovations by studios from 20 different countries, including Rwanda and Brasil. The country with the highest number of longlisted entries is the UK, at 16 projects, followed by a tie between the US and Germany with eight entries each.
