In a grandparent’s den, you’d probably find faded Kodak pictures of their children attached lopsidedly to the fridge with a touristy magnet from about two decades ago; in a parent’s office, you’re bound to come across a heap of children’s drawings in a special folder. We often find ourselves lost in time as we continue to chase after things like career and wealth, neglecting our children in the process and ‘distracting’ them with music classes, swimming lessons or mathematics courses. In a glimpse of an eye, they’re off to college and we would have lost out on doing the best thing as parents — creating memories of their childhood.
In recent years, play has been established as one of the cornerstones to a child’s development and one of the most iconic toys that first comes to mind is the rocking horse. From the 19th century, it was mostly built with wood and finely ornamented for those of the upper class before it played a huge part in the toy industry. We may not find it wholly in wood nowadays, nonetheless the rocking horse is worth looking into for the sake of memories, isn’t it?
Rocking horse is available at Jupiduu, Vondom & Xtra Furniture.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
