THE MEDITERRANEAN-INSPIRED ONA COLLECTION BY ROCA IS A TRUE TESTAMENT TO VERSATILITY, VARIETY AND SIMPLICITY. 

Paying homage to every compelling facet of the Mediterranean Sea – landscapes, lifestyle and principles – is Ona, Roca’s latest collection of comprehensive solutions for any bathroom space. From basins and faucets to baths and accessories, it features a versatile, sustainable and elegant assortment that authentically reflects the beauty of the region. Translated to ‘Wave’ in Catalan, Ona is governed by soft shapes and geometric lines backed by advanced standards of hygiene and comfort, as intended by the Roca Design Center team in collaboration with international design studios Noa Design and Benedito Design.

The wide range of basins and its combinations exemplify all the possibilities offered by Fineceramic®, the ceramic material that not only affords size adaptability to finer and lighter pieces but facilitates a more sustainable production process by generating zero waste. The basin range also grants asymmetrical or centred installation options to provide extra useful shelving space.

Focusing on aesthetics, the over countertop basins have been fashioned into rectangular and round shapes with either white or matt white finishes for a classic but sophisticated touch. Ona also presents the right furniture option for each basin, all featuring a soft close system and full extraction drawers in colour schemes that embody the Mediterranean such as matt white, matt grey, dark elm, light oak and matt green. 

Standing out for its cylindrical and slim body, the faucet comes in different heights and spout lengths with a flat minimalistic handle. Its internal Cold Start opening system, flow limiter and ceramic cartridge with reduced diameter assures greater efficiency in both water and energy consumption. Four stellar finishes await: chrome with Evershine electrolytic coating, the brand-new titanium black and rose gold with the exclusive Everlux PVD finish as well as the classic matt black. Moreover, touchless-operated versions for the shower and bath (wall-mounted and built-in), kitchen as well as public bathrooms are available too.

Replicating a serene swim in the Mediterranean Sea are the bathtubs, courtesy of large inner dimensions and the pleasant touch of Stonex®. Inspired by natural resources, this exclusive material possesses the following benefits: anti-slip, abrasion-resistant and highly durable. Built-in versions in two dimensions and models for corner-right or corner-left installations are also offered for a truly perfect fit.

Wall-hung, close-coupled, floor-standing and back-to-wall make up some of the dimensions made for the rimless toilets and bidets. Apart from a larger flush button, extra height has been given to each water closet for greater comfort. The Supraglaze® coating steals the show by allowing microscopic residue to slide right off, inhibiting dirt build-up which makes for an easy clean.
Highlighting the minimalism of Ona are the accessories which comprise a pack of countertop elements – tray, container, soap dispenser and tumbler – and appears in a trio of colours that match the furniture – matt white, matt grey and matt green. Manufactured with recyclable materials, these have been specifically designed to fit the basin shelf or the standard drawers of the furniture when not in use – now that’s what we call environmentally and spatially considerate.
