“FIRST CIRCUIT BREAKER EMBEDDED WITH CLASS 1 POWER METERING SYSTEM, COMPLIANT aND CERTIFIED WITH IEC 61557-12”
Leading in digital transformation of energy management and automation, Schneider Electric launched Masterpact™ MTZ where it would be the next-generation, high power, low voltage air circuit breakers. It comes with a range of new features that increases connectivity, convenience, and ease of power management.
Designed to protect electrical systems from damages such as overloads, short circuits and equipment ground faults. The end users will benefit from increased power uptime and energy efficiency, building on the legendary performance, reliability and safety of the Masterpact™ range. The new range of circuit breakers incorporate communication functionality as well as Class 1 power metering system that optimises costs and efficiency to ensure smart operation of buildings.
It can connect the electrical switchboard to any building and energy management system, allowing users to connect their smartphones as the main Human Machine Interface (HMI) to monitor and control Masterpact™. This provides maximum convenience and allows ease of power management.
In addition, through its integrated intelligence technology and internal current transformers, the Masterpact™ MTZ air circuit breaker enables users to upgrade the electronic separation unit at any time, as well as reduce problems of current fluctuation. This gives users better control over the environmental impact of their equipment.
“It’s about time industries in Malaysia, especially heavily reliant on high quality power, harness disruptive technologies like Internet of Things (IoT) manages their power disruption within their operations more effectively, hence, at Schneider Electric we offer our later Masterpact™ MTZ, designed to empower end users, especially panel builders and contractors who require high power breakers for low-voltage solutions for industrial sites, critical application and buildings,” said Astri Ramayanti Dharmawan, Country President for Schneider Electric Malaysia.
