Starting all the way in his teenage years, Silver admits he had an interest in tracing out tiles as well as imagined enhancing a space to stand out. He further explained he preferred spaces that looked bold and unconventional. In creating the name for the company, Silver said the inspiration came from rice being our staple diet; something he believed design is similar too, being important to everyone.

The award-winning Rice Design’s forte is commercial projects because of how it gives them the opportunity to be creative and that’s evident in his Moonlight Cake House project, where each outlet shines in their respective design. The company uses more of the contemporary luxury style for its timeless element, and Silver’s dream project would be to build a hotel that is close to nature and uses natural resources as much as possible.
