It’s also interesting how they both get their other inspirations from; CV admits The Sims has helped a lot, and Deacon took the interior design route because he thought there was a better market for it.

Grid Studio’s emphasis on residential projects has given them a chance to try out various creative ways, giving them a better edge. They don’t want to have a signature style as that would restrict them, however, the duo encourages the team to use marble and stainless steel because it creates a more luxurious look. The biggest challenge they faced has been securing clients during the Movement Control Order (MCO), but with some adapting, they managed to keep their head held high.
