XTRA Wins Best Designer Office Chair at Metropolitan Home Trusted Brand Awards 2018

The Cockpit chair by Poltrona Frau-Ferrari represents the collaboration of two brands to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Ferrari. The designer chair reinterprets the ergonomic perfection and aesthetic beauty of the driver’s seat. It also conveys the perception of the way an employee’s movements and posture are supported by the backrest and seat in workspaces. The Cockpit chair is available in two versions, President with a high backrest that offers generous support for the upper body and Executive with a deliberately low and narrow backrest to ensure freedom of movement.

The chairs’ racing car inspiration is seen in the design, from the leather upholstery, to the carbon or alutex moulded external shell, and the swivel device that sports the same design and mechanical elements as the Ferrari car’s steering wheel.
